Are you a Rutgers alum, a spouse of a Rutgers staff member or student, student of UMDNJ or UMDNJ Faculty/Staff? If you are, you can purchase a recreation membership.
Rutgers Alumni, Alumni spouses, Employee spouses, Student spouses, Type 4 employees, PALS, SAC Parents, UMDNJ students and UMDNJ Faculty/Staff are all eligible for a membership pass.
If you are a retired employee, you do not need to purchase a membership. If you go to the RUConnection Card Office, you can obtain a pass that allows you access to all the Rutgers facilities.
Each membership is valid for one year from July 1st until June 30th. Since it is a one time yearly fee, we prorate the price each quarter. All memberships, regardless of when bought, are nonrefundable after 3 business days, are valid through June 30th and cannot be terminated before that date. Please call or stop in at the Werblin Recreation Center for pricing.
All you have to do is come into the Werblin Recreation Center, Livingston Recreation Center, Cook/Douglass Recreation Center, College Avenue Gymnasium, Rutgers Fitness Center or Rutgers Tech Gym & Spa and fill out an application with one of the office personnel during normal office hours.
