Children's Jujitsu ClassesHelp your child gain physical coordination and self-confidence as they practice the non-agressive form of self-defense known as Danzan Ryu Jujitsu. The class will teach children how to escape from various holds, hold an opponent on the ground, fall safely and throw an attacker. Students will receive their very own uniform and will work toward promotion in this style of Jujitsu. The chief instructor for this course is Barb Gessner, a 6th degree Black Belt, who has been teaching martial arts for over 25 years. She is the National Manager of Clinics and Contests for the American Judo and Jujitsu Federation and a National Clinician for the United States Judo Association. The instructor to student ratio is 1:4 or better.
