Intercampus Champs - Spring 08

On Sunday, April 27, the best intramural basketball teams got together to
decide the 2008 Intercampus Championship. Representing the College Avenue
Campus was champion Purple Cameltoes and runner up Team Silicon. Livingston
was represented by champion Get Sum and Cook/Douglass was represented by
champion L Set Ballers. In the first semi, Get Sum took it to Team Silicon
behind the steady play of Alex Baggot. In the second semi- final Purple
Cameltoes outlasted the L-set ballers despite a superb effort of Amir Smith.
In the final, get Sum gave Purple Camelotoes all they could handle with
Jesse Cisto leading the way. In the end, the Cameltoes led by the
leadership of Amin Gillespie took the lead for good with about 3 minutes to
play to secure the Intercampus bragging rights.
