Equipment Rental
A variety of rental packages are offered to serve the needs of our patrons. Rental items include barbecue grills, volleyball sets, coolers, as well as "specialty" packages for the day or an extended weekend. Rental equipment is available to Rutgers University students, faculty, staff and Recreation members. A valid University ID is required.
Rentals Equipment can be rented for a nominal charge on a daily, weekend or weekly basis. Rental requests may be obtained in the Offices of the College Ave. Gym, Werblin Recreation Center and the Cook/Douglass Recreation Center. Forms must be filed at least 48 hours in advance.
Reservations Reservations may be made in person up two weeks in advance. To guarantee reservations an equipment deposit fee must be paid upon completion of reservation form rental fees are due at time of pick up. University groups may reserve equipment with a letter from the sponsoring department. Be sure to plan ahead and reserve equipment in advance of your function.

Rental Policies
- Equipment rental forms should be returned to the administrative office in either the College Avenue Gym, the Sonny Werblin Recreation Center or the Cook/Douglass Recreation Center.
- A deposit is required for all equipment rentals. This deposit will be returned once equipment is inspected and deemed in satisfactory condition. University departments and recognized organizations may make arrangements to have the deposit fee waved. An official letter signed by a sponsoring dean or department head will be accepted with prior approval. Please inquire in the administrative office for more details.
- Equipment returned late is subject to a late fee.
- Equipment that is lost, stolen or damaged is the financial responsiblility of the patron.
