Boxing is another sport that has many fitness applications. Again, we welcome all newcomers. We have a knowledgeable staff that can help you get started and show you proper technique. We can even help the experienced boxer or mixed martial artist with new ideas and training techniques. You will be amazed at what a short workout with our instructors and boxing conditioning equipment can do for you.
There are no prerequisites for these boxing workouts. Just bring your own wraps and gloves. Below are just some of our policies that you should know about prior to participation.
No sparing will be allowed during the boxing sessions
Please sign in upon entering the room
Proper/protective hand gear must be worn in order to use boxing equipment
During the Fall and Spring semesters, boxing workouts will be held during the following times: Mondays & Wednesdays: 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Tuesdays & Thursdays: 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Fridays: 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
You may drop in and leave at anytime during these time blocks. However, we ask that you limit your total workout duration to 1/2 hour and let others "work-in" on the bags when the room is near or at capacity. The open boxing sessions are FREE!
