Rutgers Aquatic Training School
Next Session begins January 2010
Welcome to the Rutgers Aquatic Training School. Rutgers Recreational Services is proud to make available to you these specialized training programs. The School offers courses from the American Red Cross as well as other prominent professional organizations to help you become prepared as an aquatic professional. Confirmation will be emailed upon receipt of your registration and full payment. Directions may be downloaded from our website.
Course locations are either the College Avenue Gym, Cook Recreation Center , or Sonny Werblin Recreation Center. See individual course listings. Attendance is required on all days and times for each course section. If you fail the pre-course tests of any course you will be entitled to a 50% refund if you withdraw and all books are returned unmarked. If you choose to continue the class and do not pass, no refund will be given. Books may be mailed in advance for any course (excluding instructor manuals) for a $20 postage and handling fee.
Winter training school is conducted annually in January. Summer training school offers classes May through June. Training classes are offered on a limited basis from July to December and February to April. Please check the Non-Credit Class brochure for classes conducted during the semester.
