Expand your Scuba skills and sample some of diving's most popular specialties with Adventures in Diving, PADI's Advanced Open Water course. This is the ideal follow-on for divers who have just completed thier Open Water courses and are wondering what to do with their brand new C-Cards! It is also an excellent re-introduction to Scuba for people who haven't been diving for a while. And it's all dives!
Adventures in Diving gives you an introduction to the New Jersey diving environment: you will be making a boat dive and an inlet dive as part of your course. You will be diving some of the famour Jersey Shore wrecks!
You will be making five dives in thre sessions, practicing the corse skills of underwater navigation and making a deep dive. You complete the course by choosing three elective dives from night diver, wreck diver, multi-level diver, search & recovery, peak performance buoyancy and more.
The course is highly recommended for anyone who intends to dive in the New Jersey area, where most of the dives are deeper than the 60 foot Open Water dive limit.
Course Logistics
Adventures in Diving begins with a registration/orientation session, where students can register for the course, complete the paperwork, and collect their course materials.
After the registration session, there will be an optional Scuba tune-up in the Olympic pool for students who have not been diving recently. This is also an opportunity for students to try on equipment and wet suits and work out what sizes they will need for the course.
